Snowmen and Snowflakes!

Looking at all the parts of a Snowman and making snowflakes.

The children have been painting their very own snowman to display within the classroom.  The children look carefully at the parts of a snowman.

First they had to paint a big  circle for the body, then a smaller circle for the head.  Once their snowman's body had dried, the children then added features to their snowman.  The children talked about the snowman needing 2 eyes, a nose, a scarf to put around the snowman's neck and buttons on his tummy.  The children worked very hard on this and were proud of their achievements.

The children have also worked hard on learning and developing their cutting skills.  They worked hard to cut out a pattern to make a snowflake for our classroom display.
