About the logo – The schools meals is now known as Phoenix Food, the logo was designed by a Wyken Croft pupil. In December 2014 a competition was launched across both schools to design a logo and think of a new name for the school meals, all the entries were judged by members of the School Council at both Wyken Croft and Charter and Beverley’s design was picked as the winner. With the help of Jade Design Studio, Beverley’s art work was turned into the Phoenix Food Logo.

About the new menu – The new menu launches on Monday June 8th. The menus feature fresh homemade food with new dishes, such as Chicken Tagine, having been tried by the children first and if popular, have been included in the menu. Menu’s are available from the school office for you and your child to pre-order the main course of their choice.

Together with the school Eco Council we are supporting the Meat Free Monday campaign, more information about this can be found in the Meat Free Monday Information and website www.meatfreemondays.com

We can cater for special diets, please contact the school office to arrange a meeting or telephone call to discuss your child’s needs. We aim to be inclusive and are able to adapt the menu to suit your child, providing homemade foods free from additives where ever possible.

Free meals are available to all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children, an great opportunity for your child to try different food and saving you over £300 per school year. Please contact the school office for a menu.
